Highlights

– Carried out three workshops to integrate the SABC approach into government programs, including sharing tools on handwashing and tariff payment behaviours.

– Developed and rolled out a strategy to promote WASH products, financial tools and sanitation kits in one of the four small cities participating in Y Kuaa.

– After incorporating lessons learned from previous years, participation of community members to SABC activities increased by 90% when compared with the previous year.

– As part of the COVID-19 response, and due to a good standing relationship with them, supported SENASA’s emergency plan by expanding activities (Access and SABC) to additional 49 rural communities and adapted workshops to a digital format, including stop-motion techniques and interactive audio-visual clips broadcasted via a messaging application.
